iMovie "Turn Off Snapping" Workaround | Things I didn't Know Until Now #001

When cropping a video or image using the "Ken Burns" tool — say you wanna scale-and-pan-and-scan a portion of said video or image — by default, both the START and END frames snap-to invisible alignment guides.

Simply hold down the COMMAND key when moving or resizing a START or END frame and they won't snap to those invisible guides.

Take your finger off the COMMAND key and the frames will snap.
